A bit about hacking and hackers...

I think today the word "hack" is used too lightly... I see a lot of people claiming to be "hackers" that don't know a thing about hacking... I know there is a lot of programs available that will give you great power over DII, but that does not automatically make you a hacker... And just for the record I would like to state that I am not a hacker... Just good at using the powerful programs that let you hack... But a true hacker is one who can actually manipulate the code, break into the game and change things around, without messing the game up of course... Not many of those out there that I know of... But the few and the proud know who they are and I salute you all! Keep it up and keep supplying us with these great programs... I mean really, where would the world be without a hack for a game? In boring vill if you ask me...

You will find all the modules you need for D2HackIt in the D2HackIt section of this site... As most people know, D2HackIt by itself is useless... D2HackIt has some functions, but nothing useful to the game itself... Think of D2HackIt as the program that gets you into the code of closed B.net Grants you access so you can run other hacking programs... That's where modules come in... You use modules to expand the awesome power of D2HackIt... Most, like I said, are useless, but may one day be used for a better module... Who knows? For downloads of modules and D2HackIt you can find links in the D2HackIt section or directly out of the downloads section... For newbies I recommend you follow the instructions and download the programs as instructed to... This will help to prevent you from messing up your game and having to reinstall...

Oh, Jamella... Everyone knows a little bit about this editor, that is if you are a person who owns Diablo or any version of it for that matter... He was the first to actually build a character editor with not only all the bells and whistles, but with and item editor to boot... This program is for hacking character information for open B.net and single player games... I'm sure it works in IP as well... This editor does not edit any information in closed B.net because B.net saves your character making it inaccessible to his editor... Just think, if they could some how work Jamella into D2HackIt... I've used this a lot to develop items and have a great list of all the things that work... That is all explained and outlined for you in Jamella's section...
